Vertical gardens on the ground floor of 57 Ocean’s façade, leading from the porte cochere to the double-height lobby, will bring a sense of calm foreshadowing the experience inside. With its parking garage underground, the connection from the first level to the beach will be seamless, complemented by an abundance of vibrant native species at the surface.
57 Ocean is scheduled to be completed in 2021 and has been awarded Gold LEED Certification (one of the most stringent classifications for eco-conscious residential and commercial development and construction), has set the “gold” – if not ‘green’ – standard for seamlessly drawings the outdoors in.
